SPA COVENTRY

Spa treatments are highly beneficial for both physical and mental well-being, offering a variety of therapeutic effects that enhance overall health. They promote relaxation and stress relief, helping individuals to unwind from the pressures of daily life.

Spa treatments such as massages can alleviate muscle tension, improve circulation, and enhance flexibility, which many people find helpful when muscles feel tight or overworked.

Additionally, treatments like facials and body scrubs rejuvenate the skin, contributing to a healthier appearance. The calming environment of my spa also encourages you to switch off, which many clients find leaves them clearer-headed and calmer. Regular spa visits can be a key component of a wellness routine, improving quality of life and encouraging self-care.

The Spa Experience is all about indulgence whilst still giving your skin nourishment, hydration and probiotics.

All treatments are available as a stand-alone treatment or you can have it in combination with other treatments to create the ultimate personal luxury experience.

Treatments are for clients aged 18 and over, and every new client starts with a consultation.

THE ESSE LUXURY SPA FACIAL

This luxury facial treatment combines all the qualities of a pamper facial whilst using high quality probiotic skin care & skilled hands to lift, nourish and hydrate your skin, leaving you feeling relaxed, refreshed and glowing.

Each facial is tailored to your skin needs and will include one of the Esse actives ampoules with an occlusion mask.

  • Live Probiotics
  • Clarifying
  • Hyaluronic Acid
  • Intensity
  • Bright
  • Hydroboost

A Live Probiotics facial typically involves the application of products containing live bacteria that aim to restore and maintain the skin's microbiome balance. The treatment can help improve the look of breakout-prone, reactive or dry skin by supporting a balanced skin microbiome.

Clarifying is designed to cleanse and purify the skin, particularly effective for individuals with oily, acne-prone, or congested skin. This facial typically includes deep cleansing, exfoliation, and sometimes extractions to remove impurities and unclog pores.

Hyaluronic Acid focuses on the application of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body known for its remarkable ability to retain moisture. This facial is designed to deeply hydrate the skin, improving its elasticity and plumpness while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Intensity addresses specific skin concerns such as breakouts, the signs of ageing or uneven pigmentation through a combination of advanced techniques and high-quality products. It can also incorporate modalities like LED light therapy or microneedling to enhance results.

A Bright facial is a specialised skincare treatment designed to enhance skin radiance and promote a more luminous complexion. This facial typically focuses on exfoliation, hydration, and the use of brightening agents such as vitamin C, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), or other antioxidants to combat dullness, uneven skin tone, and pigmentation issues.

Hydroboost is a skincare treatment designed to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate the skin using a combination of hydrating serums and radio frequency or IPL technology.

SPORTS MASSAGE

A sports massage involves a variety of techniques designed to prepare your muscles for athletic activity, enhance performance, and aid in recovery after exercise. Typically, it will include deep tissue techniques, stretching, and focusing pressure on specific muscle groups, which can help ease tension and improve flexibility. Depending on the nature of your sport and if particular muscle groups are worked the hardest these will be the focus of the massage.

A sports massage can help ease muscle soreness, making it easier for you to continue with regular training routines. By enhancing circulation, reducing stress levels, and promoting relaxation, many people also find it leaves them feeling better overall, and more ready to rest.

Spa and Massage FAQs

Why choose The Skinutrition Clinic for my Spa Treatment in Coventry?

I take the time to get to know what you want to achieve from the spa experience, so I can personalise the experience just for you, or you and a partner. This way you can get exactly what you want, especially for skin treatments as there are so many options. I can help you decide on the most appropriate treatments for your skin and body needs.

What is the best way of deciding what Spa treatments would be ideal for me?

Simply get in touch and have a chat with me. It may be worth popping in for a consultation if you have any particular concerns or areas you would like targeted especially in relation to skin treatments.

Are some massages painful?

Some massages can indeed be painful, depending on the type of technique used and the individual’s pain threshold. Deep tissue massages, for example, focus on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue, which can cause discomfort, particularly in areas of tension or injury. While many people find this intensity helpful for releasing knots, there may be some discomfort in the process.

That's why I will communicate with you to ensure that the pressure is adequate to achieve the desired result without crossing into pain. Especially as everyone's body responds differently to touch, meaning that what feels painful to one person may be soothing to another. Ultimately, a balance between effective treatment and comfort is essential for a positive massage experience.

My relaxing massage and face massages are definitely not painful, though; in fact, I hope they have the opposite effect of allowing your mind to drift off as you are fully relaxed.

How long does a massage take?

Most of my targeted area massages last one hour. If you opt for a full-body massage, it will take one hour and thirty minutes.

How much does a massage cost?

I keep my pricing structure based on time rather than the area or the type of massage I perform.

For a one-hour session I will charge £55 and for a full body massage lasting one and a half hours I charge £70.

Do you cater for group Spa day bookings?

I provide a boutique Spa experience which is very personal in terms of combining treatments just for you which simply wouldn't be possible with a larger group. I cater for couples or individuals only.
